The German Diversity Day, initiated by Charta der Vielfalt e. V., is a day of action in Germany. It aims to provide a platform that promotes diversity and inclusion in organizations. Companies and institutions actively address the topic and show their commitment to an open and non-discriminatory working environment. The anniversary, which is specifically dedicated to diversity, serves as an opportunity and format to raise awareness of diversity in the world of work, break down prejudices and promote inclusive working environments in Germany.
It was first launched by Charta der Vielfalt e. V. in 2012. Since then, DDT has taken place every year in May. On this day, organizations can carry out various activities to strengthen the importance of diversity, from workshops to interactive events.
We, as Charta der Vielfalt e. V., live diversity not only on one, but 365 days a year and therefore welcome any action throughout the year.
